Our Story
Jason and I are thrilled to announce that we have completed our home study and are now in the process of adopting from Taiwan! We are working with our agency to adopt a toddler from St. Lucy's Center in Tainan, Taiwan. The process of being matched with a child will take between 6 and 18 months. After we are matched we will be given approval by the government of Taiwan and travel to bring our child home. St Lucy's Center is a privately run Catholic children's home (orphanage) that houses approximately 40 orphaned children from infant to age 2. St. Lucy's also provides education and counseling to birthmothers and adoptions from Taiwan are semi-open. This means we will potentially meet our child's birth mother and will send regular updates to our child's birth family once we return home. We are beyond excited to be on this journey and can't wait to bring our little girl home!
